| I have cleared off crash data off of sdm airbag control module. Plugged unit back in and airbag light is still on. Diagnostics says b1001 configuration error. Class 2 Serial Data Communication allows control modules (i.e. the Powertrain Control Module (PCM), the Body Control Module (BCM), the Dash Integration Module (DIM), the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC), the radio, the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Controller, and the Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM) to exchange information. I believe that the airbag sdm is now missing the vehicle vin information which would cause this error. Can I reprogram the sdm with vehicle vin?....or will have to have dealership reprogram with GM Tech II? |

| GM Tech2 needed to reprogram vin into sdm module after I erased crash data, so it is working now. Anyway to clear crash data without removing the vin information? | ||||
